The Original AWT held a Grand Re-opening Party "Rediscover the Magic" at the original location on Cerisyi , May 30.
The Events were:

1:30p - 2:30p - Live Piano Concert from France by AWT's Sandia Beaumont
2:30p - 3:30p - DJ Stef Martynov
The second series of events begins from 7:30p 'til 10:30p
8:00p - 10:00 AWT's Original Musical Mistress - DJ Willow (Willow Ophelia)
There were two contests $1,000L each for the most convincing 2006-2007 avatar: skin, shape, hair & clothes.
The party was well attended with over 70 unique visitors.
MY OPENING REMARKS
I am Ashra Lang, the Founder of A Woman’s Touch.
AWT was started by me in an old game called The Sims Online in 2003. Although very successful, more and more players started moving to Second Life.
On August 1, 2006, I opened The original AWT right here where you are standing. From the original 4096 sq. meters we expanded until we covered 75% of Cerisyi.
A Woman’s Touch is like a sorority where women can relax and have fun together in a safe environment.
We are not a lesbian group, rather a place for all women to gather away from men.
There are limitations to living on the mainland and on September 14, 2007 we moved to our own Island. Today, A Woman’s Touch covers Two Islands and there is so very much more to see and do than we were able to set up here.
Unfortunately, bigger is not always better and when we moved we lost a special magic that we never recaptured. Kamille is one of our original regulars and she shared with me her dream that the original could be reopened and some of that magic recaptured.
Today that dream becomes a reality. Most of what you see are the original AWT objects recovered from inventories long forgotten.
It is an honor to be here at the Grand Reopening of A Woman’s Touch and I happily pass the keys on to Kamille Demina who has done a great job of restoring this great club for women.
